Cathy Gibbon - Marketing Associate
Graduating from St John’s College Oxford in 1992, Cathy brings over 19 years experience in marketing and sales with a particular specialism in managing web design and build and in digital marketing.
She has the rare ability to be able to turn the world of web into plain English, making her an ideal link between client and technical teams in the progress of web based projects. With excellent eye for design, a sound understanding of front-end and back-end technology, a strong belief in customer-centric delivery, Cathy is a competent project manager and an effective communicator.
Cathy can assist with a broad range of online and off line challenges including: strategic planning, project management, web design, development and delivery management, e-marketing, social media, e-commerce, domain management, accessibility and seo.
Her extensive experience spans many business sectors including not-for-profit, manufacturing, airline industry and banking. Previous employers include Veritape Ltd, London 2012 Ltd, Epson Europe BV, Go Fly Ltd and Abbey National plc and Oxford University. At London 2012, as web and e-marketing manager, Cathy was responsible for the planning, design and development of award-winning London 2012 Bid website and the management of its accompanying online public support campaign. This website won the New Media Age Public Sector Award in June 2005. Freelance clients include Event Merchandising Ltd and Seven46.
Aside from work, Cathy lives in St Albans with her family. When not doing the school run, she loves the outdoors, sport (particularly running and riding) and her garden.
