Simon Dry - Design Associate
Having graduated from Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, Simon has worked in London, Dublin and is now based in Suffolk. As Dry Design, he works with a broad spectrum of clients, specialising in the design and production of corporate and brand identity, literature, signage, below the line advertising and web design.
Dry Design was formed in Dublin in 1994 by Simon and his wife Victoria. Working in partnership with advertising, design, PR and marketing agencies or directly with clients, Irish clients include AIB Group, Bewley’s/Campbell Bewley Group, Bord na Móna (Irish energy company), The Commission for Communication Regulation, Darina Allen Food Company, Dublin Zoo, Fishamble Theatre Company, The Fulbright Commission, Diageo Ireland, The Irish Museum of Modern Art, University College Dublin (UCD) and Unicare Pharmacy.
After 10 years in Ireland, they relocated to the beautiful Suffolk countryside and as well as retaining many Irish clients, they have also built up a wider UK client portfolio including Comply Serve (company managing UK regulations and standards), Chadacre Agricultural Trust, HaGA (Home and Garden Accessories), Honda East Anglia, Go Ape!, Merrifields (Commercial Estate Agents), Microsoft Research (Cambridge) and Open Objects (intranet and extranet specialists).
Simon offers more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of print and web design. His skills range from the generation, visualisation and presentation of ideas, through to design development, artwork, print and production and project management. He works using both hand drawing and computer (Mac) programmes including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Quark Express, Word and Powerpoint.
Away from work, Simon is married (to Victoria) and they have three children. He loves socialising, football, food and drink, cinema, stand-up comedy, country walks, the sea, music and Doris, his dog.
